2024 Frosty Olympics

The Frosty Olympics is a fun, all-day event at the beach with the goal of building community and garnering support for the Foster family as they continue to battle ALS!
When: SATURDAY, October 12th, 2024
Where: On the beach just south of the Hermosa Pier
Time: 11 am – 4 pm PST
Event details: Fun beach day and cornhole tournament. After-party at Waterman’s.
Who: EVERYONE! Adults & kids are welcome!!
Suggested donation: $77. Kids are Free!
In January 2021, Frosty and his family were faced with the devastating news of his ALS diagnosis, but are determined to make every moment count while planning and preparing for an uncertain future. This is where Team Frosty was born- comprised of family, friends, neighbors, community members, and local businesses! Please join us at the Frosty Olympics — not only for a fun, memorable, and inspiring time together but also as Team Frosty’s key fundraising event with proceeds going to help the Fosters with expenses like making their entire home wheelchair-accessible (widening hallways and doorways, wheelchair accessible shower, etc.) as well as future care needs.

Hermosa Beach St. Patrick's Day Parade
March 2024
Every year the Hermosa Beach Chamber of Commerce throws a St. Patrick’s Day parade along Pier Ave. This treasured community event is the perfect event for Team Frosty! More than 70+ people showed up to march together in support of Frosty and his family. Our group was a big hit, as parade onlookers thoroughly enjoyed our sass, spirit, and shenanigans. The Hermosa Beach St. Patrick’s Day parade is an awesome event for Team Frosty and is in keeping with our creed to “Keep Frosty Smiling” (“KFS”)… because while this disease is terrible, our goal is to build community and have fun. Join us!
THE 2023 FROSTY OLYMPICS!
Although it was a bit chilly with some rain, the 2023 Frosty Olympics was a great success! This all-day event was filled with fun, food, drink, and prizes. Fun was had by all with over 75 participants! Over $30,000 was raised this year with the majority of that from the silent auction. Much love to our community of local businesses and everyone who participated and donated their time and money!
Hermosa Beach St. Patrick's Day Parade
March 2023
Team Frosty was the largest group in the event with 110 people to March in support of the Fosters. The ALS Association supported the event with a brand new banner in support for Team Frosty and the ALS Association.
THE 2022 FROSTY OLYMPICS!
Back in April 2002, Frosty got a bunch of friends together for some fun and shenanigans- and of course, with a splash of competition. The Frosty Olympics was thus born! To continue that tradition, we are turning the Frosty Olympics into an annual FUNdraiser to help grow awareness of and support the Fosters as they prepare for their battle against ALS. This all-day event was filled with fun, food, drink, and prizes. Fun was had by all with over 170 participants! Over $25,000 was raised in our first major event. Much love to everyone who participated and donated their time and money!

The Hermosa Beach St. Patrick’s Day parade will now be an annual event for Team Frosty and is in keeping with our creed to “Keep Frosty Smiling” (“KFS”)…because while this disease is terrible, our goal is to build community and have fun.
